“Hike to Delta Lake – Base of the Grand Teton – July 2014”

The hike to Delta Lake starts out at Lupine Meadow Trailhead and is a 3.8 mile up trail.  The total hike will take you 6 hours or more depending upon how long you stay at the lake.  The views are breathtaking and along the way you might see wildlife, like this bear that we ran into on the trail.  It is a very secluded trail once you leave the main trail at 3 miles and is a little strenuous, but is nothing that a person going slowly couldn’t do.

String Lake Trail
String Lake Trail is an easy 4 mile hike in the same proximity as Jenny's Lake at the base of the Tetons. The trail goes up and around the lake and is a good lake for taking canoes.
